The Ceremonial Mask Chess Set

The Ceremonial Mask Chess Set All of the pieces are caricatures of actual African Tribal masks. The meaning of each mask specifically relates to the postiion it holds on the chess board. It represents a theme of honoring your family, past, present, and future.

The King stands about 6" tall...pawns about 3"tall. All of the pieces are meticulously hand-carved with old fashioned bench chisels from solid hardwoods like Walnut, Maple, and Poplar. The Chessboard measures 25" square and is made from solid Walnut and Red Oak.

I specialize in making very limited edition themes and one-of-a-kind sets based on YOUR ideas for pieces and themes.
