Turning a medium into an object of beauty has fascinated me since I was a small child. The appeal was so strong that it was what I wanted to do more than anything else. There was nothing better to stifle that desire than a high school art teacher intent on teaching discipline as the only important road to art. So I only played at making art until I was 40 and then devoted most of my time to making what you see here.
