My third year of making special geisha for Halloween. 2008's theme is The Mummy. I created kimono to look like mummy wrappings, gave them hair inspired by Nefertiti and each one holds a handmade sterling ankh.
I started out making 3 prototypes until I found the design I wanted and went on to make 5 for this year. Since they are part of my limited edition holiday series, this specific design will never be repeated. Only these 5 will ever exist and each comes with her own signed collector card.

Yes, they're tiny! I love to work small and push myself to see just how small and detailed I can get them.
