Asian Gold Leaves - Bonsai Wire Tree Sculpture
Created by using 22,24 & 26 gauge gold color wire. 15"H x 9"W x 9"D. The end of each wire is hammered flat producing a delicate flat gold leaf. The bending and twisting roots cling to a mound of rocks and pebbles and all is bonded in sea sand. The sea sand mixture is painted in several coats of yellow, green and white India ink. The color and texture of the surface of the mound gives the feel and appearance of moss covered earth. The sculpture sits in a multi-colored glossy ceramic pot. All the colors used are "light fast" and will not fade.

Autumn Bonsai-Wire Sculpture
16"h X 13"w X 12"d
Created with 18, 20, 26 gauge galvanized steel wire. The end of each wire is then hammered flat to form the shape of a small leaf. The hundreds of leaves are hand painted in enamel paint using yellows, golds and reds to create a "fire" of Autumn colors. Two antique clay brick pieces are used to visually stabilize the tree structure into a dark green rectangular glazed ceramic container. The tree is planted into a lawn of sea sand and pebbles which are painted with India ink to give the appearance of moss.

Mighty Wind Swept - Wire Tree Sculpture.
28”wide x 23”high x 24”deep. This magnificent wind swept tree sculpture is
created using 18, 20, 26 and 28 gauge steel wire. The wire used is not galvanized so it has oxidized
(rusted) giving the sculpture an amazingly realistic weathered appearance. The tenacity of this tree
is emphasized by its massive root system firmly planted into a base of sand, rocks and pebbles bound
onto a 1’ thick slab of slate. The sand and pebbles are painted in yellows and greens, using India ink,
giving the appearance of moss covered earth.

Mystical Island - Wire Tree Sculpture.
18"H x 14"W x 13"D. Created in 24 & 26 bright coated copper wire. Hundreds of clear glass fringe beads are woven into the branches and twigs. When displayed in bright light or direct sun, the clear beads reflect and refract the light producing a magical kaleidoscope of color. The roots of this tree sculpture are interwoven and bonded with sea sand and pebbles then mounted on an island of dark gray slate. The slate is bonded to a 1/4" piece of beveled edge plate glass sea sand mixture is painted in several coats of yellow, green and white India ink. The color and texture of the surface of the mound gives the feel and appearance of moss covered earth. All the colors used are "light fast" and will not fade.

Yellow Oak - Wire Tree Sculpture
18"wide x 17"high x 17" deep. Tree is made of 18 & 26 gauge silver colored steel wire. The end of each twig is hammered flat and painted a bright yellow, using enamel, to form hundreds of leaves. The tree is secured into a round maroon colored glazed container in a sand and pebble mound directly in the center of several large textured stones. The sand is painted using India ink to look like moss. The overall sculpture has the feel of a mighty oak tree in all its colorful glory. When displayed in direct sunlight or very bright lights, the sculpture seems to glow a bright yellow.
