Plastic. Maitresse Maison, January-February: The Story of walnut

It's a fascinating story, one that introduces us to a world unknown to us, more specialists. Is the universe proposed by sculptor Liviu (Alan) Bora, a name that we are already familiar. We as the main reference points of artistic experiences to be found in collective exhibitions (The Annual International Exhibition of Miniature Art, Del Bello Gallery, Toronto, 1990; Gallery Bastion, 1990), in the personal ('Alien Girl', House of Culture students, 1994, 'Cube' Puppet Theatre 'Puck', 1995 'Sculpture', National Theatre Tirgu Mures, 1997, 'Mask', Maitresse Maison, 2010), collaborations with prestigious Puppet Theatre 'Puck' Cluj-Napoca (1994 - 1996, 2005 - 2006), the National Theatre in Tirgu Mures (show 'Harlequin's happening', directed by Mona Chirila), Odeon Theatre in Bucharest ('Saragosa - 66 days ", directed by Alexandru Dabija), Hungarian State Theatre Cluj - Napoca (show 'Cabaret Europe', 2005, directed by Aleksandar Dundjekovic; show 'Quartet', directed by Gabor Tompa, 2007), the Municipal Theatre of Baia Mare (show 'Harlequin & Co', directed by Gelu Badea, 2006). I remembered not by chance, I remembered that Alan should be pursued through the Bora and diversity of his artistic activities. One of the classic approaches are not missing and then talking about commediei dell'arte masks, and simplified forms and went down to essences. Adherence to the concepts of Brancusi, the materialization that captures at first sight.
That is why I am convinced that by Brancusi among them Alan's match Bora, and I quote, "is the true path to direct carving sculptures, and the worse for those who do not know how to walk. After all, carving direct or indirect means nothing, it only counts them. " And it did mean a fascinating story of not missing portraits and allegorical figures - Igor, Fish Golden Serpent San Idol (Tapu), Venus Kanyo, King, Clown, Kios Venus, Girl with birds in her hair, Idol (Miki ) caryatid, cry, Fleurs, Shadow, spin, green leaf - so many perfect performances, symbols, references and clear message expressed.
Overlapping man - artist gives the sixteen works - should be recorded and photographs that accompany and enrich artistic exhibition - relevant data on walnut trees King rightly considered the crown massive, powerful trunk, bark smooth, gray, dark green leaves and large aromatic. It uses the story walnut furniture industry, automotive, aerospace, shipbuilding, food, weapons, uses the artistic (musical instruments) or the medicinal, ecological, one more reason to 'read' nut story closely. Written by an artist inspired, original, deeply.
